Ísing is a 1998 polled white ewe, Natural Triplet.  (Lambing Record since 2002: 2,2,2,2,2)
Ising is now in retirement.  She is the gentle mother of our flock, and a truly loving sheep.
She is curious and very intelligent.  We believe she hides badger.  She consistently gives
beautiful and friendly babies.  She also passes along some wonderful pigment to all of her
white offspring.
Our Older Ewes
Huldís is a 1998 horned morrit ewe.  Huldis is now in retirement.  (Lambing
record since 2002:,2,2,2,2)  She is a tall girl with a broad face and brave
personality.  She produces lambs with a wonderful meat conformation.  "Huldis"
is the Icelandic goddess of mystery.  Grandfather is Maple Creek Mori.
Our Ewe Flock
Hunáng is a 2000 polled grey morrit.  Twin.  (Lambing record: 1,0,3,2,2,2)  This ewe
has incredible fleece.  She produces in 6 months the fleece that most of our other
sheep produce in a year.  She is curious and loves human attention.  She is large and
built like a tank!  Her mother, Hrood, was one of our favorite ewes, a polled black grey
with incredible personality, and she produced fabulous babies.  Hunáng means
“honey.”
Elly is a 2003 scurred black ewe.  Twin.  She was pure black until her
second shearing, and has now developed gray tones like her mother.
She has a beautiful bright face.  Her sire is Sven, who consistently
gives ewe lambs with excellent mothering skills, Lambing record: 1,2,2
Silfa is a 2003 polled black grey ewe.  Twin.  She looks like an
exact replica of her mother, Hrood.,  Even her curious personality
reminds us of her mother.  She produced an outstanding ewe lamb
her first year, and lambed with ease.  She even volunteered to
adopt a two week old lamb that had been rejected.  We kept an
eye on this odd little family, but she handled it without any trouble.
Her lambing record: 1,2,2.  Silfa produces a nice consistent fleece
each year.  She is a joy to have in the flock.  Another Sven
offspring, with wonderful mothering skills.
Silfa.  May, 2007
Finna is a 2003 scurred morrit mouflon ewe.  Twin.  Lambing
record:(2,1,2,2).  She is slender and tall, and looks more like a
deer with her upright expression and alert personality.  As a
yearling, she produced twin lambs, one horned moorit mouflon
ewe lamb, and one horned moorit ram lamb out of Bjarki (a
black horned ram).  She is an excellent mother, and always
presents me with her newborn lambs in the morning, after
having cleaned and fed them.  It doesn't get much easier than
Finna!

Freydis is a 2005 polled Moorit Grey Badgerface ewe.
Twin.  She is my first double-patterned ewe.  She is a
calm and sweet girl.  She and her mother have exactly the
same face.  She has a lovely fleece.
Freydis.  May, 2007
Glóa, and Fjóla are triplet 2003 gray moorit ewes with scurs.  Glóa
and Fjóla were bottle-raised, and very friendly.  Great grandfather is
Maple Creek Mori.  Thier sister,Sædís, is cautious, but curious  None
of the three were bred their first year.  Fjola's lambing record: 2,0,2.
Gloa's lambing record: 1,1,3.  Saedis's lambing record: 0,1,1.
Saedis and her 2007 lamb are for
sale.
Glenna is a 2005 Black Mouflon ewe out of Hunang.  Twin.
She is my first ewe lamb from Hunang.  I am happy to see
that Hunang has passed on her beautiful fleece, and sturdy
build.  Glenna's sire, Sven, consistently gives his offspring
wonderful mothering instinct and great disposition.  Glenna is
currently for sale.
Skima is a 2006 white horned ewe lamb out of Sebastiana and a
Skummorson at Rockport Rogue Island.  She is large with lots of
personality.  She will be brave like her mother.
