Melasol frá Álfasaga
Dam: Osp fra Asi
Sire: Snerrir fra Kjarnholtum
Melasol is a 2002 Isabella Palomino Pinto Icelandic mare.
She has a slender build and an elegant look. She was a
Valentine's day gift from Peder to Bonnie in 2004. Isn't that
sweet! Melasol is bright, friendly, and eager to learn. She
will continue her training this year as she is turning 5. She
is shown below at the Evaluations in Idaho this past
September.
"Melasol" means: buttercup.

Our Mares
Sara frá CCA US9220567
Dam: Syndri fra Fitjamyri
Sire: Fresli from Helms Hill
Sara is a 1993 chestnut Icelandic mare with flaxen mane
and tail. She is a solid trail horse, and feels most
comfortable out on the trail, the open road, or a winding
walk through the woods. She enjoys Old Mac's
multi-purpose horse boots, and has never been shod
with traditional shoes while owned by us. In July of 2003
she was unofficially evaluated by Icelandic breeding
judges, and received a score of 7.55 for conformation
(traditionally known as "second prize"). She was not
evaluated for riding ability. Her conformation scores are
below:
